Privacy Policy

Homeward Recovery Co. is a business name of Hardwick Labs LLC, a California limited liability company ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, call or text us, or rent or buy equipment from us, and how we use it.

The short version

• We collect what you give us so we can quote, deliver, set up and pick up your equipment.
• We don't ask for medical information, and we ask you not to send it.
• We don't sell your personal information.
• Analytics and advertising cookies load only if you click Accept, and you can change that any time.
• You can ask us to show, correct or delete your information.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Quote and reservation requests: your name, phone number, email, delivery ZIP code, the equipment you're interested in, the date you need it, the best time to call, any notes about access to your home, and whether you agree to receive text messages.
• Orders and delivery: delivery address, who will be home, access details such as gate codes, and rental dates.
• Payment: card payments and deposit holds are handled by our payment processor,[processor name]. We don't store full card numbers.
• Referral partners: name, organization, role and work contact details from our partner request form.
• Calls, texts and emails you exchange with us.

We do not ask for diagnoses, procedures, surgeon names or insurance information. Please don't include medical details in our forms or messages. We are not a healthcare provider and do not bill insurance or Medicare.

Information collected automatically

Our website host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we also use:

• Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site.
• Google Ads conversion tracking to measure which ads lead to quote requests and calls.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure which ads lead to quote requests and calls. It receives only page views and standard "Lead" and "Contact" events. It never receives what you type into our forms, the equipment you choose, or the query part of page addresses.

If you click Decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, none of these load. You can change your choice with "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page.

Chat assistant

Our website chat assistant answers general questions about our equipment and service. If AI answers are switched on, what you type in the chat is sent to our chat server and to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write a reply. We don't store chat conversations on our server, and we don't use them for advertising. Anthropic handles them under its commercial terms [link and retention period to confirm]. If AI answers are off, the assistant answers from our FAQ inside your browser and nothing you type leaves your device. The assistant is automated, can make mistakes and does not give medical advice. Please don't type medical or other sensitive details into it.

How we use information

• To respond to your request, prepare a quote, and confirm details by phone, text or email.
• To schedule and carry out delivery, setup, support and pickup.
• To take payment, place and release deposits, and keep business records.
• To send appointment, delivery and pickup messages, and follow-ups about your quote.
• To measure and improve our website and advertising, if you accepted analytics cookies.
• To protect our business, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

Text messages

If you check the SMS consent box, we may text you about your quote, delivery and pickup. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of renting or buying. We do not share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.

Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers who work on our behalf, including our customer relationship and messaging platform (GoHighLevel), our website host, our AI provider for the chat assistant (Anthropic), our payment processor, and email and phone providers.
• Advertising and analytics providers (Google, Meta), only if you accepted cookies, as described above.
• Legal and safety: when required by law or to protect our rights, customers or others.
• Business transfers: if our business is sold or reorganized.

We do not sell personal information. When you accept advertising cookies, California law may treat measuring ad results with Google or Meta as "sharing" for cross-context advertising. You can opt out by clicking Decline in Cookie settings or by using Global Privacy Control.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep (for example, payment and tax records).
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information.
• Not be treated differently for using these rights.

How long we keep information

We keep quote requests that don't become orders for [period, e.g. 24 months], and order and payment records for as long as tax and business record laws require. We delete or de-identify information when we no longer need it.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on the systems we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our website is meant for adults arranging equipment for themselves or a family member. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We'll post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
