Homeward Recovery Co. is a local service based in Long Beach, delivering across greater Los Angeles and Orange County.
Why we started
Our founder, Mikey Hardwick, is a healthcare operations and case management professional with 15 years of experience helping patients make the move from hospital to home.
Over those years he saw the same thing again and again: the surgery is planned for weeks, but the house isn't ready. Families end up driving around the day before discharge looking for a chair, a scooter and a shower seat, then trying to fit it all in the car and put it together.
Homeward Recovery Co. exists to take that off the list. You tell us the date, and we bring the equipment, set it up, show everyone how it works, and come back for it when you're done.
We don't give medical advice, and we're not a substitute for your care team. We handle the equipment and the logistics so you can focus on the person coming home.
How we work
Plain prices
Weekly and monthly rates are on the site. The deposit is refundable. No surprise fees.
Set up, not dropped off
We place each piece where it will be used, adjust it, and show your family how it works.
Clean every time
Rentals are cleaned, disinfected and inspected between customers. Bathroom items are always new.
Know our lane
We handle the equipment and the logistics. Medical decisions belong to your care team, and we'll always point you back to them.
