Paying and pricing
Do you take insurance or Medicare?
No. We are private pay only and do not bill insurance or Medicare. Prices are listed up front so you know the total before you book.
Can I use an FSA or HSA card?
Many families pay with an FSA or HSA card. Whether a purchase qualifies is up to your plan, so check with your plan administrator. We can send an itemized receipt.
What does delivery cost?
Delivery, setup and pickup is $95 for an order with a recliner, or $49 for smaller items. It is included free with the Homecoming Kit. Sales tax is added where it applies.
Is there a deposit?
Yes, a $200 refundable deposit held on a card. It is released after pickup once the equipment is checked.
When do I pay?
We confirm your order by phone, then take payment and place the deposit hold before delivery. Rental extensions are billed at the start of each new week or month.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards. The deposit is a hold on a card, so a credit card works best for it.
Can I buy a lift chair or knee scooter instead of renting?
Right now we rent chairs and scooters and sell bathroom and dressing items new. If you think you'll need something long term, tell us when we call and we'll talk through options.
Delivery and setup
How soon can you deliver?
We book deliveries at least 3 days ahead so everything is in place before the discharge date. Call us if your date is close and we'll tell you what we can do.
What happens at delivery?
We bring everything in, set it up where it will be used, adjust heights, and walk your family through each piece. A typical delivery takes 30 to 45 minutes.
Does someone need to be home?
Yes, an adult needs to be there to let us in and go over the equipment. It does not have to be the person who will use it.
What if the discharge date changes?
Call or text us as soon as you know. We move delivery dates whenever our schedule allows, at no charge.
When should I book?
As soon as you have a surgery date. We need at least 3 days, and booking earlier means we can hold the equipment for your date.
Can you deliver to a hotel, an Airbnb or a relative's home?
Yes, anywhere in our service area, as long as an adult can meet us and the property allows the equipment inside.
Can you deliver to someone else if I live out of town?
Yes. Many families book for a parent from another city. You can book and pay, and we'll walk through setup with whoever is at the home.
Where do you deliver?
We're based in Long Beach and deliver across greater Los Angeles and Orange County, including Long Beach, Torrance, Lakewood, Carson, Redondo Beach, San Pedro, Gardena, Orange County. Put your ZIP code on the quote form and we'll confirm.
During and after your rental
How is the equipment cleaned?
Every rental is cleaned, disinfected and inspected between customers, and checked again at setup. Bathroom items are sold new and are yours to keep.
Can I extend my rental?
Yes. Rentals continue week to week or month to month until you call for pickup. After the first 4 weeks, Homecoming Kit rentals continue at $99 a week or $349 a month.
What's the shortest rental?
One week. Rentals are priced by the week or by the month (4 weeks).
Is the rental equipment new?
Rental equipment is pre-owned and goes through our cleaning and inspection process between every customer. Bathroom and dressing items are always sold new.
How does pickup work?
Call or text when you no longer need the equipment and we schedule a pickup, usually within a few days. Bathroom items and the hip kit are yours to keep.
What if something breaks or stops working?
Call us. If a rental stops working through normal use, we repair or swap it at no charge. Damage beyond normal wear may be deducted from the deposit, and we'll always talk with you first.
Can I return something early?
Yes. Call for pickup any time. Weekly rentals are billed by the week and are not prorated by the day.
What we carry
What equipment do you carry?
Power lift recliners, standard power recliners, knee scooters, front-wheeled walkers, rollators, transport chairs and wheelchairs and overbed tables to rent, plus new bathroom and dressing items to keep. The full list with prices is on our equipment page.
Do I need a prescription?
No. Everything we rent and sell is non-prescription equipment, so you don't need a doctor's order to book.
Will my equipment look exactly like the photos?
Not always. Product photos on our site are representative images. The make, model and color we deliver may differ, but it will be the same type of equipment with the features described. If a specific color or style matters to you, tell us when we call and we'll let you know what's available.
What weight and height will the equipment fit?
Every piece has a maximum weight and an adjustment range. Tell us the user's height and weight when we call and we'll make sure the model we bring fits. If you need a heavy-duty option, ask and we'll tell you what's available.
Do you install grab bars or make home changes?
No. We deliver, set up and adjust our equipment, but we don't install fixtures or do construction work.
What don't you carry?
We only carry equipment that doesn't need a prescription. For prescription-only equipment, ask your care team or discharge planner. They can refer you to a licensed medical equipment supplier, and many of those bill insurance.
Can you tell me what equipment I need?
We can tell you what each piece is and how families commonly use it, but we don't give medical advice. Your surgeon, therapist or discharge planner is the right person to say what you need. Equipment needs vary; follow your care team's instructions.
